Research Scholar Program

 ACR-AAR Research Scholar Program

The AAR's RRA and RAHSR Affinity Groups are pleased to once again partner with the ACR to offer the Research Scholar Program. The program seeks to bring together residents and fellows who have a background and interest in scientific health services and health policy research with seasoned academic radiologists. The full day program offers health policy research curriculum, scholar presentations and focused mentoring sessions.

This program is open to residents or fellows. 

• Program participants must be AAR members.
• Program participants will be required to register for the AAR meeting. 
• Applicants will be required to prepare an abstract for a current research project for which they are the lead investigator and first author.
• A $1,000 stipend will be paid to each participating department to offset travel expenses.

Your chairs acknowledgement of support of your participation is also needed. The request will be sent via email by the system. Only one candidate per institution may apply for each program, please allow enough time for your chair to respond with their support so that your application is complete prior to the deadline.
